The MIC Political Prisoner Working Group addresses the specific issues of oppression, repression, constitutional, and human rights violations as related to political prisoners in the United States. The Working Group engages in advocacy such as letters and statements of support for political prisoners, international advocacy, retaliation and neglect/abuse monitoring of prisons, and general movement based supplemental support for political prisoner support committees as needed and desired.
